How to paint your trim in few steps

  1.  Prepare the Wood Trim: Start by removing any dirt, dust, and debris with a vacuum cleaner and then sand down the wood trim with medium-grit sandpaper to roughen the surface and
    provide a good adhesion surface.
  2. Prime the Wood Trim: Apply a primer with a brush or a roller to seal and protect the wood trim. After the primer is applied, use sandpaper to smooth out any brush strokes or lines.
  3. Paint the Wood Trim: Apply paint with a brush or a roller, working in the direction of the wood grain. Start at the top of the trim and work your way down, overlapping each stroke as you go
  4. Seal the Wood Trim: Once the first layer of paint is dry, apply a second coat to protect the wooden trim from moisture, sun, and other elements
  5. Dry Time: it takes up to 24 hours to completely dry and up to 3 months to completely cure.

How to paint a door?

  1. Prepare the Door: Start by preparing your door for painting. Make sure to remove any existing hardware and fill any holes or imperfections with wood filler. Once the filler has set, sand the door smooth.
  2. Clean and Wipe Down the Door: Use a damp cloth to remove any dust, dirt, and other debris from the door. Dry the door with a clean, dry cloth.
  3. Apply a Primer: Using a paintbrush or roller, apply a primer to the door surface. This will help the paint to adhere properly and will increase the longevity of the finish.
  4. Paint the Door: Use a latex paint and brush, or a sprayer, to apply the paint to the door. Start at the top and work your way down, painting in even strokes. Make sure to cover all sides of the door, incluing the edges.
  5. Allow the Paint to Dry and Apply a Topcoat: Allow the first coat of paint to dry before applying a second coat. Once the second coat is dry, apply a topcoat to the door. This will protect the finish and give it a longer-lasting finish.

How to stain your deck

  1. Prepare your deck for staining by scrubbing down the surface using a pressure washer and removing any dirt and debris.
  2. Choose the right type of stain for your deck, taking into consideration the type of material, the extent of weathering, and the desired finish.
  3. Colored wood stains can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray, depending on the coverage desired. Make sure to reseal the stain after every coat.
  4. Make sure to remove any bubbles or drips as you apply the stain, and allow the stain to dry for the recommended time before applying additional coats.
  5.  After the entire staining process is complete, allow the deck to dry, and then give it a final seal with a sealer or transparent top coat
